I am a color snob. If a color isn’t just right, I’m not happy. Making a light, pretty frosting color from those supermarket packs is pretty tough. Now with this guide from anna and blue paperie and Food Network Magazine I am going to give those little packs another try!
Part of me can’t quite believe all these gorgeous colors come from the supermarket box, but I am definitely willing to try it out! I saved it to my Culinary Compilation Board for a rainy day. Another great tip is to always use pure white frosting as the base for these colors – even vanilla extract will change the color of your final product.
